Just a Normal Fashion Post....

So last night while wandering The Shopping District and AMD with my friends picking up all the wonderful one linden gifts scattered about in front of the stores. They asked me why I never blog normal fashion anymore. "You have become dark and wandered off into fantasy land" one said. All I could think is "humph fantasy land, what else is second life, but one huge fantasy land?" But I did not say that, but really thinking of all the sixty million other "normal" fashion blogs there are, and how I like doing something a bit different to mine, mixing it up, so to think.

But did I say that? No, instead I meekly replied "I do normal fashion posts still"... and they said "prove it" and so here I am proving it. Not that I really need to prove it, considering if they actually read my blog a bit closer, they would see I did quite an eclectic selection of posts. But bloggers are forever reading their own blogs, more than others, or so I think. So here you go, you three naysayers!

I present to you all with "just a normal fashion post"! Well, maybe not really a normal fashion post, because I don't think there is anything normal about my cute little starlet I created today! In the creation of this little beauty I wanted to bring forth the image of a young actress just leaving a star-speckled garden party in the hills of Hollywood. Her style is immaculate., not too dressed up, not too casual -- a perfect balance of sultry beauty and innocent girl next door.

I will have to admit it all started with the hair. I love this hair. The Anissa Fitted Mesh Hair (L$200) is by  Sentinus. Sentinus is a new brand to me The vibrant colors and gorgeous styling made me fall in love with the demo and purchase the  hair. With purchase you get a texture hud with 12 hair colors. It is rigged so be sure to try the demo first.

For the youthful flushed skin tone, I chose Deluxe Body Factory's Estelle Skin (L$1,950). The beautiful sand tone skin is currently available as an exclusive skin at the Dream Fair till the 20th of this month. This is a huge pack with all kinds of appliers, for a full list you can check the vendor at the fair or the website.

My mesh lips are .:Soul's:. Cupid's Pout, Smile (L$599). I love the slightly open lips. I used the enclosed lip HUD to color them a deep red. The Kissers come with a mesh mouth, mesh teeth, three alpha layer options, alignment tattoo & applier. You can adjust your transparency, glow and tint via the hud.  They are very easy to fit and Charlie gives excellent customer service if you need a bit of help.

The Summer Ombre Lipsticks (L$290) are also by Deluxe Body Factory. They are a lovely set of three lush lipsticks beautifully colored. I especially liked the pink and blue ombre (not pictured). In my photos I am wearing the ombre peach. Included in the purchase are 3 lipstick tattoo layers and  appliers for #TMP, SLINK, Kissers and Sweetlips.

For my eyes, I chose Dulce Secrets' Secret Garden, Seafoam Eyes (L$55). I have been having a lot of fun matching this eye collection with my outfits lately. I love how they look alive in the windlights. The Secret Garden eye collection is available in twenty-one colors. Each color comes with system layer eyes and mesh eyes.

I framed my pretty peeps with Mon Cheri's  "Falsies" Mesh Alpha Lashes  (L$299). The lashes come with a hud which switch between three styles and change the texture colors of the lashes between a natural and fantasy color palette for a total of fifteen colors per style, along with a tintable option. The eyelashes are only four prims; non-rigged so you can custom fit it to your eyes.

What starlet is ever seen with out layers and layers of beautiful jewels. I mixed up several of Maxi Gossamer's jewelry sets to get today's look: the  Damasc Bangles (L$199), the Raisa Earrings (L$499), the Baroque Teardrop Necklace (L$399 ), the Bridget's Faith Heart Necklace (L$299), the Filigree Oval Necklace  (L$499 ),  and the Karina Court Ring (L$299). Maxi Gossamer specializes in fashion and jewelry for all occasions. Maxi Gossamer's jewelry is un-rigged mesh so you can adjust it to fit perfectly. All sets come with a texture changer allowing you numerous options to mix and match gem colors, patterns and metals. Maxi is by far my favorite place to shop for my accessories.

My show stopping blouse, skirt, shoes and nails are all special color releases by Somina for the Heat Wave Cart Sale at The Wash. If you have never been to one of the Wash's cart sales, now is the perfect time to experience it - almost everything there is L$10 and there are a ton of free gifts! Okay back to my outfit, the blouse and skirt are both part of the Foxy Set Specials (L$10). The set includes a mesh tank, shirt/shorts  in five sizes, along with a fitmesh version and a texture changer allowing you to change the colors of your belt, tank and skirt.

The Sheeny Specials Heels (L$10) come with a texture change HUD that allows you to change the colors of the, heel, bow and body of the shoes. You will need to own SLINK's AvEnhance High Feet (L$675).  I am also wearing SLINK's AvEnhance Elegance Hands (L$675), The hands and feet are easy to wear. Each set comes with a HUD that makes it easy to match skin tones and a utility HUD for tattoos, stockings, and fingernails.  To accent my hands and feet I am wearing the Summer Fruits Nail Polishes (L$10), also by by Somina. The purchase includes eight nail polishes for both fingers and toes for the Slink, Belleza, and Omega systems only.

My poses for these photos were using a variety of poses by BellePoses and Studio Sidhe. BellePoses has a huge selection of affordable static poses for men and women, along with a variety of poses with props. Definitely one of my favorite stores to find new poses from, in this post I used individual poses from BellePoses' Rubia, Renata and Miranda Sets (L$75-125). Each set comes with five or six static poses.

For my shoe poses, I like to use Studio Sidhe's  Siddean Foot Fetish set (L$450/set or L$80/pose). The set comes with ten static poses that position the feet perfectly to show off one's shoes.

Photos were taken at the  The Shopping District .
