Minty Magnet for Major Staring

Today I decided to do a bit of exploring with friends. They had never been to Xin Sim, so we wandered over there so they could explore. While they were wandering about I snapped a few shots of the outfit I threw together before going out. For some reason I find those outfits are usually my favorites.

For my outfit, I went with the Criss Cross Tank Top (L$200) and Denim Lace Skirt (L$200) from Just BECAUSE, along with the In the Jungle Classic Heels (L$85) from Entice.

The top is a cute spaghetti strap camisole with a delicate crisscrossed lacing on the back. I don't normally like miniskirts but I could not resist this one. I loved the lace insert along the sides, along with the distressed jean material. The top is available in twelve vibrant colors and the skirt is available in fourteen colors. The lace insert on the skirt is HUD driven with seventeen colors to chose from or you can have no lace at all. Both pieces are original mesh designs and textures hand created by Annie Melson (owner of Just Because).

Each design comes in standard sizes and versions for Belleza Venus, Maitreya Lara, and Slink Physique. The skirt comes with two extra Belleza Venus versions because Belleza is about ready to release their 3.0 updated version of the mesh body! Creators have been given the files a few weeks before the release of the updated body so they could get a head start on providing clothes to fit it. Demos are available.

I can not stress how much I love Just BECAUSE's designs. I have been following/blogging them since 2012. Their quality has always been top of the line, with major care given to the hand drawn textures and styling of their creations. To top it all off, they have always kept it reasonably priced. Most places I found when I was younger have outgrown my price range and, if we are being honest, style. But not Just BECAUSE, they are a consistent quality and don't flip their style to the extreme as many Designers have as they get older.

Entice is another brand I have followed since it first opened. They have a very large, affordable selection of fashion designs. It's very rare during a visit to the Flawless sim, I don't find something I like there. The In the Jungle Classic Heels are available in six spectacular colors. They are a classic design that can go with almost any style genre.

As a side note, The Flawless Hot Summer Nights Cart Sale & Hunt is going on till July 6. This is one of my favorite cart sales to attend as there is always something great to be had for less than 100 Linden and tons of free hunt gifts.

The skin I am wearing today is the Davina in Honey (L$899) from .:Soul:.. I really like this skin line for it's a natural skin tones, very light and airy looking. I enjoy wearing them for my casual day looks. The Davina Skins are available in eight fantasy tones, eight human tones and three mono tones. I am wearing (H4). Each skin tone comes with seven muscle tone tattoos, 5 standard shapes, 16 Eyebrows, Mesh Eyelashes, lip tints for Kissers and Loudmouth, 2 eye-shadows and appliers for Kissers, Loudmouth, Booty, Baby Bump, Lolas, Lush and SLINK. Demos are available.

For my ears today, I wore my Dobby Uni Ears (L$399) from .:Soul:.. I love the slight downward curve to this style. I think ears such as this give a more innocent look. I think it probably has something to do with a more submissive look, not sure though.  Each ear set includes one pair of mesh ears, a Uni ears HUD, alpha layers and instructions. The Uni Ear HUD that allows you to change the tattoos and skin. You can also adjust your transparency, glow and tint via the hud. Very easy to use.  Demos are available.

For my lips, I am wearing one of the eight wonderful lip colors that came with Deluxe Body Factory's Summer Romance Lipsticks (L$200). Deluxe Body Factory has been releasing some really great summer make-ups lately. I have just fallen in with the color palette. These are on sale at anyBody till the 30th. The set comes with eight lipstick tattoo layers and appliers for #TMP, SLINK, Kissers and Sweetlips.

For my eyes, I went with Dulce Secrets' Secret Garden, Steel Blue Eyes (L$55) and Basic HUD Controlled Mesh Lashes (L$75). This is my current favorite eye setup right now. The Secret Garden Eye Collection is available in twenty-one colors and comes with mesh and system layer eyes. The lashes are a release for The Designer Showcase (ends the 26th). They are available in four different colors with a HUD that has seven eyelash styles. They are a very easy modify to fit to your eyes.

For my hair, I went with a really cute new design by Tameless. The Ria Hair is short with funky spiky bangs that hug your face and eyes. The hair is mesh with some flexi so it gives the appearance of movement as you move. It is available in three color packs: Naturals with all 30 natural colors, Fades with 30 ombre and tipped colors, and Fantasy with 30 fantasy colors. It is also available in a petite version. Demos are available.

For my jewelry, I chose the Hand Painted Pansies Bangles (L$99) from Maxi Gossamer and the Emerald Bloomette Necklace (L$60) by Stars!.  The bangles are my favorite to wear for my basic looks. They give just enough accent and color to give a finished look.  The set includes two styles, so you can mix and match four color textures, which are selected via touch.  The necklace is available in eight pretty colors and includes matching earrings. I know the necklace isn't exactly what you would classify as a casual look, it is more for evening wear. Earlier this week, I had seen a lady at work in RL combine a really elegant evening necklace with her casual jean look and it was amazing. So I thought I would give that a try here. Plus, I just liked how the necklace sparkled.

My poses for these photos were created using the Camile Pose Set (L$100/set or L$20/pose) by BellePoses. They are available as an exclusive for the Showroom till June 26.   BellePoses has a large variety of affordable and unique static poses for men and women, along with a nice variety of props.
