Something divine to faun over!

Sometimes I get the worst writer's block ever. I never can think of what to write or even what theme I want to take photos in. Usually when this occurs I just clean my inventory till I hit a piece that makes me go "Oh wait that would look great with this or that" and before I know it, I have a group of pretty pictures to share.

Second Life Virtual Role-Play Fashion Review

Tonight's post started with the discovery of Just BECAUSE's latest release the  CrissCross Dress (L$200/color or L$1,300/fatpack). This little slinky number is amazing. It is very well textured. The painted wrinkles makes it hug your avatar accenting all the right places; showing just enough flesh to tease. The criss-crossing lacing across your back makes it delicate and light looking, as if it is made of a soft wispy fabric. Just BECAUSE is one of my favorite designers in second life. You can see the care that is taken with each new release in the quality of the mesh base and the hand drawn textures. They do not skimp on the quality of their designs. If you like the dress, they also have a CrissCross halter top, which is a shorter, different textured version of the dress top portion with the lacing across the back.

To match the pretty deep purple of the CrissCross Dress, I wore the Sheeny Specials Heels (L$10), by Somina. They are a special release for the Heat Wave Cart Sale at The Wash. They come with a texture change HUD that allows you to change the colors of the, heel, bow and body of the shoes. You will need to own SLINK's AvEnhance High Feet (L$675) in order to wear these heels.

I am also wearing SLINK's AvEnhance Elegance Hands (L$675), both the hands and feet are easy to wear. Each set comes with a HUD that makes it easy to match skin tones and a utility HUD for tattoos, stockings, and fingernails. To accent my hands and feet I am wearing the Summer Fruits Nail Polishes (L$10), also by by Somina. The purchase includes eight nail polishes for both fingers and toes for the Slink, Belleza, and Omega systems only.

I found the lovely flowing Guusje Hair (L$250/color or L$1,300/fatpack) by MINA Hair at FaMESHed. The hair is available in eight color packs (black, light red, dark red, light brown, dark brown, light blond, dark blond and grey). Each color pack has five shades accessible via a texture HUD. Each hair style by MINA Hair comes with a version with or with out materials enabled. They are rigged mesh so be sure to try the demo offered. This particular style comes with a version for men along with the women's version.  I have been a long time collector of MINA's hairs and recommend checking out the main store to see all the unique styles of hair for both Men and Women. You won't be disappointed.

The pretty delicate Celestial Fawn Antlers (L$50) are from a gacha machine at Half-Deer. I know, I know... I am not supposed to do gachas, but I couldn't resist! (Can we say addiction?) I got lucky and got the perfect color match right off too, so I wrote it off as no harm done. Though, there are ten common and 10 uncommon colors still to collect (see them here). So I may have to go back to try my luck a few more times. I am helplessly addicted to Half-Deer's designs. I love how playful and whimsical they are.

Also by Half-Deer, is the Fuzzy Bunny Tail (L$150) which I re-sized down and tinted a light purple. You cannot see it very well in my photos since they are a bit dark. You can check it out here in a better picture. If your in need of a good tail, I highly recommend it.

The lovely jewelry adorning my lovely avatar is by Maxi Gossamer. The lovely Esmeralda Gypsy Queen Set (L$699) is available during this month's FaMESHed event.  I loved the geometric design of this set. The full collection includes Necklace, Earrings, Nose Ring and Tikka with silver and gold options and nine bead colors accessible via a texture change script. The whole set is available at a discounted price and each piece can also be purchased individually.

Adorning my hand is a lovely Antlered Ring from the My Dear Heart Necklace Set (L$499), also by Maxi Gossamer. The set includes two necklace designs and a matching ring with silver and gold options and nine gemstone colors accessible via a texture change script.

I am helplessly attached to the Estelle Skin (L$1,950) right now. I absolutely love the creamy sand tone of the skin and the light freckling of the face. The beautiful sand tone skin by Deluxe Body Factory is currently available as an exclusive skin at the Dream Fair till the 20th of this month. This is a huge pack with all kinds of appliers, for a full list you can check the vendor at the fair or the website.

My lovely full  Ombre Peach lips are one of three colors available in the Summer Ombre Lipsticks  set (L$290) by Deluxe Body Factory.  I can't seem to take if off, if you have not noticed from how many times this month I have worn it. I love this lipstick color. The full set Includes tattoo layers and appliers for #TMP, SLINK, Kissers and Sweetlips.

My cute rounded fawn ears are the Faunus Uni-Ears (L$399) by .:Soul:.. They are adorable and match my skin perfectly (Deluxe Body Factory offers Uni-Ear appliers (L$99) for their most popular skin tones). The Faunus ears are but one of sixteen ear options available in the Uni-Ear Collection. Each ear set includes one pair of mesh ears, a Uni ears HUD, Alpha layers and instructions. The Uni Ear HUD that allows you to change the tattoos and skin. You can also adjust your transparency, glow and tint via the hud. The Uni Ears HUD is very easy to use. So you can easily match the ears to your favorite .:Soul:. skins.

For my eyes, I went with Dulce Secrets' Secret Garden, Steel Blue Eyes (L$55). The Secret Garden eye collection is available in twenty-one colors. Each color comes with system layer eyes and mesh eyes.

To make my eyes pop, I am wearing the Poppy Winter Make-up eyeshadow by Deluxe Body Factory The Winter Make-up Set (L$199) includes one eyeshadow and two lipsticks in tattoo layers for classic avatars and Installers for #TMP mesh heads.

Framing the eyes are Dulce SecretsBasic HUD Controlled Mesh Lashes (L$75). These lovely lashes are a release for The Designer Showcase. They are available in four different colors with a HUD that has seven eyelash styles.  They are a very easy modify to fit to your eyes. One of my favorite lashes to date.

My poses for these photos were using a variety of poses by Eternal Dream Poses (L$180/set, L$40/pose). Eternal Dream Poses has a huge selection of affordable static poses for men and women. They are one of my top five favorite pose stores. In this post are poses from the Lindsay Set 02 (pose #07, #08) , Mala Set 02 (pose #06) and the Trisha Set 01 (pose #05).
